I was running late for a presentation one morning, a big client was coming in from out of town to give final approval on a project I was working on for him, and the feckin' bus was late. So, I wasn't particularly paying attention to where I was going when... WHAM!

Poor kid bounced off of my like he'd ran into a brick wall, and ended up flat on his tail.

"Sorry 'bout that! You Ok, mate?" I asked, giving the fox a paw up off of the ground. He was strangely garbed, and had what appeared to be a pistol of some kind on his belt. I was a little leary of him, but... well, I'd been the one to bump into him, doesn't hurt to be polite. My heart started to pick up speed just a little, and I had to breathe deeply to quash the adrenalin surge.

Of course, I had supplies in my briefcase if I couldn't hold it back, but... it would be pretty darn embarassing to shrink right out on the street like this. Besides, had that presentation to do.
