Holy crap, I think most of the sewing is done. This is going quicker than I thought.
Occasionally I can get into a pattern with the sewing, and there are whole inches where I do a job that I'm proud of. :)
So the bloop in the center is the back of the lower jaw (the part that isn't black), the middle part is the neck, and the far sides wrap around and join to the strips that run down the center of the back, themselves extended from the forehead. I haven't been accounting for extra space along the edges to make up for what gets consumed by the seams, and the plan is to add a mohawk-stripe of black to make up for whatever I need to.
I think I need to pick up a styrofoam head from Hobby Lobby to assemble this on...it's too hard to fit it together when it's flopping all over the place.

Awesome! Looks like the sewing is coming along good I honestly only gave seam allowance when I was using a sewing machine on mine so far. I found that when I did the feetpaws, the little extra I naturally went out when tracing the pattern was enough for hand sewing. But that is taking a risk I suppose and like you said, you can always add more fur to make up for it too.
