wowsers. Nat got an outfit upgrade and a genral appearance revamp, however she is till the same lovable, shapeshifting raccoon that you have all come to know. However there are a few things i feel i should point out about her background that never really made sense until now. Hopefully the following explaination should help shed some light on her. But before that i should mention the following changes if you had already noticed them.

1. her hair is much longer than before, now reaching all the way to the base of her tail. this is now a drawing standard
2. She now has black tips not only on her fringe but now also on the tip of the bottom of her hair as you can see in the picture
3. the outfit is completely revamped, ive taken away those blue jeans she wore and replaced them with the trouser that were inspired but the outfit Sora wears in Kingdom Hearts II, though they resemble them they arent exact cos i didnt want them to be a total KH ripoff. not only that she now has fingerless glove and ankles warmers
4. her tattoo design has changed, though it is still a blue rose the design has been changed.
5. and finally the return of Nat's red triangle marks under her left eye. When Nat was originally designed she had these marking as a bith mark but the more she got drawn the less they began to show. So i revivev them to give her a little more uniqueness. i mean seriously how many red hair raccons are there with red triangles under their eyes?

ok and now for the background explaination:

As you may know nat was originally a human called Josh (thats me^^). He was turned into the lovable raccoon he is now by the wonderful Jason Tojin . Now here's where things started to get a little complex. Upon being changed Nat' mind began to fill with memories of a life she had never experienced.. now there is a reason for this. Ever heard of the multiverse theory? Well there are many universes where Nat exists, however in one particular universe the same Raccoon Nat with shapeshifting powers of the same Age as Josh's human self was standing in the exact place at the exact time that my human self was being transformed. Now the universe works in mysterious way, and being unable to cope with 2 exact copes of the same person with a near exact personality. So what does it do? it merges the 2 copies into one being, memories and all. Now you have a anthro with the memories of a human life and that of a anthro life all meshed into one. As a result Nat remembers people she has never met before even those she now call family. However those people she has memories of only remember her as always been Nat and not a human. As for her pre transformation friends they still retain memories of her human self. Now up until now nat was having trouble coping with this fact but she never wanted to worry others about it. That was until a converstaion at a breakfast bar with where things began to unrevel. She may be 2 people but she was living her own life. Once she had finally come to terms with this and accepted this her body seemed to ungo a slight transformation. her hair became nearly twice as long as before, ending at the base of her tail, black tips forming at the ends and the 2 red triangle marks she had when first transformed, which had disappeared over time, now returned unver her left eye. She now lives her life for herself and her new family but at the same time living for both herelf and the human she once was and not to lose sight of what is truely important to her.
