I apologize in advance for the ridiculous caps at the bottom of this image, as I needed to put it there. I've had a lot of issues with art theft this year, and need to put that for safety. uvu;

I got struck with inspiration when I realized I've never drawn Darkfire before his horn and wings were shucked off and I barely ever draw him and post. I tried something new here, and decided that when I draw his hair, MLP style or not, I won't bother with an outline. It's a hassle to outline fire, y'know.

The original title was going to be "I was once a king" but I remembered he was a LORD not a KING. Not even Celestia is a Queen so that would be dumb xD
Anyway, this is what he looked like before he tried to rule all of Equestria and was promptly trounced. His wings are on fire because he didn't use this form often in the Underworld, he'd usually remain in a skeletal form with flaming wings, much like his brother Cadaver's origin form. I still need to draw that hahah;;;

I'm really getting used to the line tools in SAI. They are FAB when you need to do a lot of linework with consistent lining! Between PSG style and MLP style, you get a lot of that. xD

I also want to apologize for how rude the permissions comments under all my Darkfire art. He keeps getting stolen, so it's a bit of a necessary evil. uvu; I hate having to put it under here but people don't listen (even WHEN I put the statement clear as day).
