Probably my first charcoal and pastel drawing done to be furry, this odd little piece was done for friend, Werekitty, who asked he to draw the fursona as a cybergoth. The resulting costume came from researching into cybergoth fashion and the idea of making a drawing look like it's against a blacklight. The blacklight effect seems to work well with Werekitty's blue color scheme, with the orange highlights complementing the blue colors. Other influences include Dan Flavin for his fluorescent tube sculptures and the movie Liquid Sky for some it's use of fluorescence.
