This purple fellow was a gift/request made for me by DargonXKS on the Dragon Booster Fan Forum. If you're familiar with the Dragon Booster animated series, there are 12 different types of dragons (in addition to gold) each of which have their own characteristics. One difference is that the red, orange and purple dragons walk upright like a T-rex, and the purple dragons in particular are pack oriented and have somewhat wolfish looking faces that makes them really cool in my book. After all, wolves and dragons are among my favorite furry species.

For this request piece, I asked DargonXKS to draw a purple dragon that's even more wolfish than they appear in the show, sort of more like a werewolf version of a dragon. I gave her some basic ideas like bigger ears, sharper teeth, bigger claws, more fringes to suggest fur, etc., and this is what she came up. It's a cool piece and I really like it.
