When I first heard about these full size inflatable tigers, I knew I had to get one to ride in the luggage rack of my Safari-themed landrover. It doesn't look that big on this big car, but it is practically as big as a couch when you bring it indoors. This really gets the heads turning when driving down the road. Several people have told me they thought it was alive, because of the way the wind made it move. I have ordered a taxidermy type jaw set and tongue, and one of my winter projects is to give him a realistic, opening mouth that I can control with a rod through the sunroof. This tiger is a great idea because the main body is inflatable, making it easy to ship. I found this one on ebay, but you can buy a new one thorugh a Company on the Amazon Marketplace. Such search for 'giant inflatable tiger'.

The air bladder can be completely removed and the tiger stuffed like a normal plushie . The valve is about where the belly button would be, and hidden by a velcro closing flap. It is pretty sturdy. I drive with it, held down by bungie cords on the paws. There is also a white version like Siegfrid and Roy's tigers. Based on my dewback and ongoing big dragon project, I would recommend giving your liger actual ribs made of pvc tubing, which would support the animal like it was real. A flexible backbone could be made from pvc sockets too.
I'll try to get into it when I get a chance, but in the meantime if you'd like to discuss this I can talk anywhere in the U.S. free with the Magic Jack hooked to my computer. If you send a phone number via PM and your time zone, and a time to call, I'll give you a ring.
