Rok is the fourth Pokemon Jim receives in his travels, revived as an Archen from a Fossil in Nacrene City as a reward for stopping Team Plasma. When Jim received Torch and Torrent, he was forced to send Rok and Jolt to the lab, something Professor Juniper was ecstatic about, as it gave her a first-hand change at research. While at the lab, Rok eventually evolved into an Archeops, helping Jim win his battle against Skyla. Rok is rather primitive in intelligence and speech, but he's extremely friendly, affectionate, and loyal to those he calls his friends.
