I was walking through the woods and saw and incredibly bright gleam of metallic blue-green. Upon closer inspection, it was one of these damsel flies. I absolutely love the color, which changed from deep blue to leaf green depending on if it was under a cloudless sky or near foliage. I wish I had a true macro for this, I had to crop about 3/4ths of the image out but the prime lens I used was sharp enough to allow it.
