(SCHOOL PROJECT) Children Illustration
Children`s Illustration on 8.5"x11" coquille paper(so the grainyness is intentional). Done with a Derwent watercolor pencil. For fabrications and materials class. The objective was to illustrate a plushie and create an illustration for kids. My lamp is a little wonky there, but overall I think the composition works. The lines and diagonals bring attention to the cat plushie.

At first I thought this was pointilism @_@
The only suggestion I'd have for you when doing perspective like that is to have a focal point...use a ruler and make a point (usually quite a bit off the page) and all of the points should line up with that. It sounds confusing in writing, but it makes more sense on paper.
I really like this though, you definetly got the idea executed very well =) I'm glad you're uploading your school work, it's interesting to see what other art students are doing!

it really looms like pointilism first.
a nice illustration. and I have a feeling you have such a plushie cat sprawled upon your bed at home. because it looks familiar... probably a Kösen plushie? they have irresistible grins.
unfortunately they also bite huge holes into the wallet...
