My computer decided to corrupt some system files last week and I had to rebuild my desktop. (I suspect my hard drive was starting to die.)

It cost me a lot of time and trouble (and a bit of money) but I'm up and running again after losing about a week's work. Tonight I finally got my scanner back online. So here is Gen with the gremlins she has been squishing. I think in the long run my computer came out in better shape than before, but it's been a lot of annoyances.

Gremlins are little annoyances instead of one big problem, and that's what I'm dealing with now. It took a week to get Netflix streaming again without an error, every Adobe program needed to be reinstalled, and I keep finding little programs that need attention to work again after the system rebuild. On the whole I'm up and running, but there are gremlins here and there chewing on me still.
