i came in to get a refill on my coffee this morning. after adding my sugar and coffee in to my cup, i went to go get my milk and creamer. on the way back, i saw this green thing on my ceiling over my coffee pot and cup. i dont know how he got in the house or what he was thinking. but he cant have my coffee or the brownies on the counter top. but to imagine finding a Preying Mantis looking down on you as if he was going to get you in your half awake state.
dont worry, i didnt hurt him. i took really good care of him, put him in the mini tree i have on my porch.

Wow, that's so awesome! ^w^ That happened to me one time a few years ago, but it was in the living room. We had nowhere to put it, so we let it out. Found another one this past Tuesday while I was playing racquetball on one of the handball courts at a local park close to my home. While the mantis was there, for its safety, I decided not to play on the court the mantis was hanging out in. I managed to find some at school a couple times here and there, too. I must be one hack of a lucky guy to see them every so often, hehe! ^w^
