All this news about x and y has put me in the mood to sketch Pokémon!
As I was sketching this I wondered what kind of animal if any the Pokémon team based Lucero's design off of. I was surprised to find that according to bulbapedia he's based off of the Egyptian god Anubis, so I guess he's supposed to be a jackal. I suppose it would also explain the shorts if they were trying to make it like he was wearing Egyptian linen. Also boxing was thought to originate in Egypt. The more ya know right? 2nd of 3 sketches.
