So, Fall is by far my favorite season. I expounded on it in my latest journal even. So, the idea of getting fall art was very tempting to me. Not necessarily a good thing, considering I'm trying to save my money instead of spend it all.
However, then I found Vekke's art. She's got a very interesting style, so I recommend checking out her art if you haven't already. The thing is, her style meshes very well with the colors and such of Fall. I saw the commissions she was doing for the season, so I kinda jumped on the opportunity to commission her.
Originially, was just gonna commission a full picture of my Skunk character, because I figured that would work out great. Then I splurged and decided to get a fall icon of my fursona, which is what you see here. Turned out so awesome, that I decided to commission her a third time for a fall themed full picture of my cheetah character as well.
Anyways, I have an awesome icon here, thanks to Vekke here. And for a commission that I only decided to get in a spur of the moment decision, it turned out to be one of my most favorite commissions I've ever received. Might be because of the colors. Might be because of the season. Might be because he turned out surprisingly well in Vekke's style. Either way, I love it, and I'm glad I got it. It definitely put me in the mood for the season.
