I changed a few things about her, namely because I hated how she just looked like a lady with black skin, wings and an abomen. I hate it when anthros look too much like humans, so I restyled her. This took a lot of attempts, trying to get it right. I think I started off with her looking very short and stubby, virtually like a feral with clothes. But it didn't work, and she eventually started getting longer and longer.
Her hair was a pain too... feral volcanora's hair sorta 'sprouts' from her forehead and goes backwards, but that looks horrible on anthros, make her look like an old guy. There are some things I wish I could've kept in, like her hat, bracelets and shoes, but I left them out because they all contributed to making her a pain to draw, and didn't seem to fit her snooty personality as much.

In the end, I went for a more moth-like approach, searching for moth anthros for inspiration. And gosh now I love moths. That's where the idea for the sorta hair-around-the-neck thing came from. I imagine under her clothes are now white, unlike her old design which was mostly black and 'plated' (and looked nothing like volcanoa)
