The shaky lines could be from resizing, or could be the brush you're using, or could be the old tablet slol, anyway Devin still looks nice 8D

I'm using a standard 3px brush in Photoshop CS2. And this is at complete 100%, so it's totally from the tablet. :D

I bet if it was your character everyone was drawing, you wouldn't be saying the same thing. ;3

Well I would wonder what would make mine character so special and Onta said the same thing to me about Devin. He didn't know he was going to be such a hit.

But if I could color things better... I bet my art would gain more attention.

In all honesty, I think Devin's cute, and I drew him because he's fairly simple to draw. He's good for experimenting with. :3

He is a cute character, so it's not like I am saying he's not.... it's just when something is overdone.... it is(In my oppinion.) So I am not trying to be mean.

Question though, are you inking in Photoshop? What program are you using. Newer versions of PS do have some functions in the brush menu that help you with the shakey lines. Mainly clicking on the smooth check box. That does help.

Also, if you want some nice programs for inking smoother lines (PS can be well, hard to get smoothness) I'd suggest checking out Open Canvas or Painter. ^_^ Both are really good. I just started using them to digital ink myself.

I'm using Photoshop CS2. I didn't know about the smoothing feature - I'll give that a go.

I like the shakiness - it seems to come out well in the right places. However I know that's not what you were going for, and I know that's super frustrating. (Liz's WACOM tablet has a funny 'dead zone' in the upper right corner, I want to kill it)

You did a great job with it overall though! The expression is nice, and I like the placement of his ears.
