I used to own a couple ferbies back in the 90s. The batteries in those things never die.. I would be up at night in the basement and around 2am I would hear "...wwooaahhoooww... La dedede doo do do da.. HUUUUNGREEEY!!!... zzz...zzz..zzz", then it went back to sleep mode.

I swear these things are possessed especially awhile back when my sisters said something rather off base for a furby so I ripped out the batteries with a sigh of relief... Then its eyes just clicked to me with its long "HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII" I then proceeded to calmly chuck the damn thing like a football and run away screaming like a little girl :I
