I'll probably move this to Scraps later. Since asked, here's the only part of my collection I've really focused on enough to photograph. If you can't tell, I like Gusty. She was my first pony ever. Then I lost her...I think I left her at a restaurant one day when I was in grade school. :< We went back to check, and the waitress remembered seeing her...but couldn't find it (I think someone else lied and took her...).
Then I discovered the internet in college.
Back row (left to right): US Gusty, So-Soft Gusty, Europe Gusty (looks the same as US but has flat purple maple leaves instead of sparkly glitter leaves), Italy Gusty, Argentina Gusty.
Front row (left to right): Brazil Baby Gusty, Baby Gusty with Beddy-Bye Eyes, Germany Baby Gusty with hideous hair chop and marker on face.
I only know of about...three more that I don't currently own. Also, I have a giant collection outside this, but I'm terrible at keeping inventory on them. Some of them are pretty weird...I used to make a point of stalking eBay to pick up the weirdo variants, like a princess pony with a glow-in-the-dark tail, or ponies mispackaged in the wrong boxes.
Also, yes, those are Breyers in the case behind the ponies.

Your guy friend...had the pony castle? <XD Dammit, *I* didn't even have any of the big playsets! Although I did have the Baby Bonnet School of Dance. Enjoyed that it actually worked pretty well, spinning the ponies around. :D
Although IIRC, I think the castle came with Majesty. Ember was a pony that came with a read-along story/cassette tape, or alternately as a mail-order version.

Awww, thats so cool! Just a few days ago I bought two ponies of Ebay (Baby Brightbow and Baby Firefly) that I had when I was little, but were stolen by a girl I went to school with. I can't wait to get them back.
I really love this little "collection within a collection" thing you've got going here...Beddy-Bye Eye ponies scare the hell out of me, though :S

yeah, I know...I was sort of on the fence about whether I wanted that one or not, but then I ended up with one in really great condition in a big lot I bought, so figured...eh, I'll hang onto this one too, it's a Gusty. <XD I was really happy and simultaneously upset that Non-BBE babies had been made, but only in Europe, thus making them way more expensive on the collectors' market. XD That's why mine looks like she was eaten, I didn't want to shell out for one in top condition...one of many ponies I plan to restore when I have more time.
*laugh* Well, i bought it back about six years ago...and I vaguely remember there being more Brazil ponies on eBay back then.
*checks* And dammit, just as I say that, someone lists one of the ADULT Brazil Gustys. Yikes, I don't remember them selling for that much! @_@ I'm glad I got mine when I did!

The baby is even weirder but I haven't put her in yet. <XD

SWEET SUGAR COATED SATAN! I had that pony! (top, middle). When I was little, she would be like the leader of the little herd XD but I also had a pink pegasus one with green hai who was like the God of my little ponies X3. *Sigh* I don't know what happend to this one though, I think my mum gave it away to charity.
I always loved Paradise ( http://lh5.ggpht.com/_noAh-DUgk9U/S...../Paradise4.JPG )
That is an AWESOME CUSTOM 8D
Paradise was cool too. :D Always wished they made her in a non-So-Soft version when I was little. The only So-Soft I had was Magic Star? and it annoyed me that the fuzzy flocking meant her feet wouldn't fit in the clothes and shoes very well.
