No, she's not called that because she's female...
Fan Art I did a good while back (again) for my favorite web comic Schlock Mercenary. I didn't actually want to upload this yet. I would rather have expanded to the full duty roster cast, but drawing some 40+ characters without references is artistic suicide, I'll let all of you know.
The comic takes a few strips to get going, but once it does it really gets going, changes into the fast lane and cranks it all the way up to ludicrous speed, at least as far my personal opinion is concerned.
As for why I chose to draw legs? Probably because she is my most favorite character of the cast. Of all the (partially idiotic) sociopaths in the comic, she is by far the most balanced and level headed, and she has just enough of that sarcastic self-confidence that makes characters attractive to me on a personal level ... that and she's probably the only one who keeps Schlock reasonably contained X3

I dunno, I think Elf has an even better sense of Sgt. Schlock's buttons, as does Bunni. But, they're both officers, so they kinda have to be, whereas Leela is another grunt.
All of that said, she's still a lot of fun to watch in action. Plus, as has been pointed out above, she's surprisingly competent with her tongue. You do her justice with this pic.

True, Elf and Bunni know Schlock's buttons, most of the officers do, but Legs is the only character I remember Schlock ever seems to confide in on a friendly level.
Thank you very much ^^ I would hope to get to draw more of her, but there's no real reason to do so X3

Dude, Schlock Art! Yes! Good to know you enjoy the comic as well, Howard does some amazing storylines and it's really great to read from a scripter who isn't afraid to pull any punches.
On one hand I would love to see (and I'm sure many fans would) your take on the main cast, but... the workload, it would be a lot. So thanks for this one piece.

Love him or hate him, RH Junior (Web comics, Tales of the Questor (adventure) Nip/Tuck (Funny 'Country boys' series (except when it's being political, which was way too often)), etc) had a huge crossover arc for his comic series Under the Lemon Tree (About a Bear and his manifested aspects of his subconscious, this series was mysteriously retconned to exclude a lot of it's back story when it changed names to Goblin Hollow) in the Schlock Mercenary Universe. It was done with Permission from Mr. Taylor (blogged about it here http://www.schlockmercenary.com/blo.....tree-crossover ) though not canon to the official storyline. Extremely well done and highly recommended if you can find it, supposedly it still exists on CDs and in Print. I've got some of his old CDs, but not sure if they're on there or not (though naturally I would not post them on here).
As for if Taylor is okay with furry, well I believe Keven from the web comic Keven and Kell cameo-ed in one strip, though it was many years ago ( a few thousand strips back ^.~) .
