Well, I was bored in class today with my "notes" in front of me (which have nothing to do with the class, by the way), thinking about how I haven't been able to draw anything lately, due to a lack of free time (as in a straight 4 hours or so) and a lack of privacy (dorms suck). ;) I figured now was a good time to get un-allergic to pencils, so with my trusty 0.5mm mechanical pencil in hand, my orange rubber eraser at my side, a lecture whizzing past my ears, I began to sketch my guidelines...

For my first non-digital drawing, I think it turned out pretty decently. The techniques I picked up from drawing on my compy carry over pretty well, but managing the guidelines is a pain when you can't just turn off the guideline layer... :P

So yeah, now I can draw on paper, which is pretty exciting to me, because of all of the possibilities it opens up. ^_^ For now, I'm going to stick mainly with drawing stuff on my compy, but when I'm feeling extra adventurous, I'll whip out the pencil. :D

Kinda makes me wish I had a scanner...
