right looks more reasonable IMO, the proportions are nicer, the neck is visible - and the head size in proportion to the body -
but that said - the left is fine also - it could be a completely different pose - and a more beefy/ muscular
wolf - so either is fine really <^_^>

As seems to be the general consensus, I prefer the pose of the right; the head appears held more aloft, indicating curiosity and friendliness. However, if you're going for a true wolf vibe, you might prefer cautiousness, and hence want the left pose.
In any event, the fur and shading are better on the left.

That´s my opinion too. Left I used more photo reference, hard to admit, but real wolfs have a boring body shape, I don´t know why, right have a lot more artistic freedom. I remember the paws and legs of real wolf be beautiful but I failed to capture that. Oh well , thank you ! =)
