Of course, having a bit of fun with lunch first is a better idea than just finishing it off. Not as if the elf can do much with his magic zapped.
Still has that delicious, magic tang however.
Mooooderately happy with this one? It now boils down weither to include Syl in some further NSFW activities or just have him get gulped.
Then there's the the digestion debate, hmmm. If you were a drake what would be the best revenge?

I would vote for more to make it a longer series because I love it so far. Can't help but adore those Warcraft dragons. To me they all quite pompous and full of themselves, I would think he would enjoy drawing it out longer. Anyway you choose to go with this, I am all for it however!
well to take everything into consideration the drake must realize he is in shackles. if these elves train drakes they are most likely able to hold drakes in the illest of temperment.
realisticly speaking for the story taking what i said into consideration. the elf might use that same dwindling magic to make the drake see reason and get away if only to unshackle his dominator. this is where soul binding spells come into play. where a rider becomes one with his drake to die if the other does too.
the elf could say he either does it or he dies starving in those chains in the middle of nowhere and the elf wouldnt and shouldnt be stupid enough to take a creatures word at not eating him again,.. i bet the bastard would test the strength of the bond by trying to digest him anyway...
just my thoughts on natural story progression for a good long natural story.
otherwise,.. hmm.. he could digest himbut he would be stuck there and pout about the chains or break them in a fit of rage and be left scarred for the rest of his life with shackles that dug into his wrists as ge aged.
if he is an anchient creature of magic he also has reason so,... there are quite a bit of ways it could go... he could digest the elf and gain his magical knowledge on how to unlock the chains too...
see,.. tons of paths

No digestion is my vote, but have the drake drain him of his energy, both magical and physical, but not completely. Then spit him back out and make a deal with the elf, after blocking any and all exits. if he does not want to be digested, he'll get rid of the chains that are around his legs. The elf would do that, but the drake would still eat him, but not digest him, as he flew away, saying that he is keeping his promise of not digesting him. But then reminding the elf that he said nothing about not eating him and draining him.
