Patches, evidently able to take a draconic form, stalks down a cliff face with enraged ferocity towards an unseen target. You might wanna get out of there!
One part venting art, one part practise, and one part 'gee I haven't drawn any beasties in a long time, I should fix that.'
Tried for a more dramatic/noticable shading technique here. Not sure if I failed or not, but I do like the added dimensionality. I know I need practise, but that's cool. Anyone who knows how to do nice shadows is invited to give me tips if they should please! :3
Back legs wouldn't cooperate, so, no back legs. I'm always uneasy drawing six-limbed vertebrates anyways, even in a fantasy context.
I fail at rocks, that's for sure. I EXTRA fail because I used a reference for them and STILL failed. But that's ok. Just another thing to practise!
So sorry for the shitty scan. Scanner is dying... ;_;
