the first thing to know about Syn Veto is there's two parts to him

part one: Syn was origionally human who was one of the three survivors out of violent bus accident. he is solely responible for a feline mother and her 7 year old daughter getting out alive.

however doing this meant that he got caught in the explosion and the result was being badly burned and fatally impaled. he would of died at that moment if it wasnt for the paramedics who swiftly took him to a hospital where he was found by what he needed the most... a life.

part two: Syn is an annomaly in the system of life, it was a soul that was never reincarnated when sent to the mortal level of exsistance and it had to be eraced.

it was a life without living which earned a death without dieing. the thing that made it take a physical form by sheer force of will wasn't the fear of its fate, it was the refusal of it and how discustingly unfair it was. however having a physical form didnt support it completely, it needed a life and to ensure that it wouldnt get rejected it looked for a life that needed it.
so it went to a place where that was in anbundance

it was the annomally who found the human. to it the human male was perfect, in the physical prime of it's life, no diseases or illnesses and it was in desperate need of life support. it bonded to him.
now the life the annomally was meant for a young vulpin girl and the annomally used this to repair his fading life (like replacing a blown tire), this gave the human feminine volpine body but keeping his gender. the annomally now acts as living armour to protect the first thing to accept it using its form to shapeshift into anything that will help him live.

due to trauma the former human had lost alot of his memory for instance he remembered he was human but not his name, face or family but he knew he needed to adapt to this and not waste the extra life given to him, so fearing questions he snuck out of the hospital and while looking at the newspaper report he noticed the names of the two he saved: Sindra and Vetina homes he decided that a new life and body required a new name so he became:

Syn Veto a feminine looking 24 year fox who wonders around towns, cities and countries doing odd jobs and occasionally saving people with the powers of the symbyotic ghost of a vixen who never lived but refused death.

that was his first tail

you see Death is the lawkeeper to the balance when someone breaks the rules for life and death then it will deal with them
and syn broke 2 just by exsisting
1 die when you're meant to die
2 you cant live if you are not born(or generaly crated in some tangible way)

so it set out to kill syn the fox with two souls
but because it cant effect the world directly it put a bounty on syn's head of immortality (can still be killed just dont age)

so enemy after enemy set after syn most insane others were desperate and death had made them unkillable while in pursuit of syn because death's a dick

through nessaity syn found that he had some power of his own, he had 2 souls which meant he had twice the amount of life energy than average he had alot of stamina, wounds healed at an above average rate though not too fast to be noticable, hits, brakes and cuts wouldnt slow him down as much as a normal person

he found he could produce and manipulate a strange substance he would later find out to be ectoplasm which he most uses as a weapon and clothes

while on the run his best friend  computerfreak turned anthro gave him what he needed (id money passport) but syn never asked to stay. he knew he had to sort his mess out first

later alone the road he realise that he had been neglecting his other soul the vixen soul, she was the reason he was still alive but he had been ignoring her pushing her impulses aside because he found them embarrising. the live he was living was just as much hers so in fairness when he could relax and let go the human soul would let the vixen soul take over and have fun though he still found it embarrising to no end, the fact that it made her so happy was enough to endure

thats how he earned his seconded tail by accepting that his live isnt just his any more

even later down line syn grew tired of being hunted and fighting, having to kill his unkillable hunters in painfull enough ways to make them give up.
so he thought: was there any way to stop death or at least come to an agreement?

thats when he grew his third tail and became turly at peice with himself as he is
see Syn had never broken any rules of life and death
the human he used be didnt die when he was supposed to
and the vixen the would've been who lived without being born

Syn was the result of those two coming together but he wasnt either one
in the same way a child isnt their pairents

death cant touch him because he's done nothing wrong

and with that death ended its pursuit of him

as his body began to devlop he came to his freind who allowed him to stay and after mixing his dna a little she adopted him as a little brother

and he's been syn tojin ever since
