The pig sits at his cabin, absorbed in some boring routine. Probably looking at some fuel efficiency graphics or calculating an insertion orbit, while he sips his drink...
He didn't punch anyone today, or blew up an enemy space ship, or assassinate a third world dictator, or discovered the remains of an extinct civilization, or won a hot dog eating contest, or had sex with conjoined twins from planet M'grould'gnuli... He just sits there relaxing.
It's the pig's day off.
But tomorrow there will be explosions!

Oh wow.
My favourite pictures are the type that have lots of detail in them. The sort of things that you have to stare at for minutes just to see everything. And this is doing it for me, hah.
How long did this take you? Because honestly, it's so bloody detailed. I wish I wasn't lazy so I could draw things as awesome as this. Teach me your amazing background skills =[

I don't know how long it took me. I drew this while sitting in the car before working, so I drew a little bit at different moments.
There is no big deal on the details, since its all random junk. Science fiction settings are great to draw, because you don't need much references for the backgrounds. All I have to do is draw pipes and switches covering every square inch of walls.
This drawing will probably be an scene on the book I'm working on. I have only a vague idea of the story and I'm drawing unconnected actions scenes that will fall in different place of the story. I will be posting some soon.
