Warreck belongs to
Slainmonkey
Slain was one of the first friends I made here. He's also one of the folks who helped inspire me to get back into art. I've drawn Warreck before, only now I think I've finally done him a bit o' justice.
Thanks for being a friend, and for all the advice/inspiration. ^_^

Oh man, I didn't realise you'd already submitted this, I really appreciate this. Very careless of me and I shall fav this right away. It should also be pointed out that I can really see how much you've been learning about drawing practices because it really shows on this one.
Dude I know you have a lot of stuff going on. I'm just really glad you like it, and that stream was really fun. We need to hang out more...I know I can be distracted, please don't ever feel like you're bugging me, I just tend to get drawn into my own little world some times, it's good to break out of it now and then.
I like the facial expression /attitude. I see what you mean about the pose being a bit off (it's a problem I get whenever I draw a pose anything like this, with the feet /legs like that) but that's the only thing that really pops out to me. There's a pretty neat balance between "weight"/body and cartoon style. The shape of the shoes is right on, just like they tend to bend (shoes bend differently than body parts, and it's a difference that's reflected here, that's what I'm after).
Now, I will nitpick, and it's just because it's the kind of thing I like to get pointed out in my art. There's a small detail about his face (ghh I wish I could line it out in the picture) ...the outer-most outline on the far side of it. a line sloping more directly between the nose and his right eye might have worked better. To my eye, it sort of looks like a part of his face is missing.
...I can't help but wonder if you found me through Slain. :B
