I don't want to get too ahead of myself, because there's a shit ton of things to work out, places to name, smaller stories to make, characters to develop, etc... but if/whenever I get good enough to put together a graphic novel, this could be canon, very far along into the plot.
I can only refer to their collective as "the dark enemy" at this point (because I haven't had a good name pop into my head yet), and they are the children of Dagommoth, a mythological "embodiment of chaos" that has allegedly laid waste to countless nations over the millenia. Their existence and their motives are simply not understood, not even by the oldest and wisest of supernatural beings, and can only be speculated.
But only think of it as a possibility. Just a small, dark cloud on the horizon. After all, Dagommoth is only a myth.
