I guess I upload it here, too. fanart/illustration for Cressida Cowell book series "How To Train Your Dragon". I love both the books and the movie for different reasons. But the book had a few scene that made me REALLY wanna draw them.
One of these were in "How To Be A Pirate" when Hiccup meets Toothless again in the dungeons. ;w;
(Yeah the boy's dragons are way smaller in the original story and Toothless is just an extraordinary small one. Oh and really no theeth either. XP)

But WOW, can you believe it: in tumblr it got 218(!) like/reblog so far, it's INSANE!! My usual rate is between 1-6 and even most popular post so far were the Winter commission with 42 (and not a TMNT fanart, HAH, I was very proud of that XD), but this... o__o
It's kinda scarey, haha. Looks like it's a big fandom XD
But hey, it got 12 favs. ^^

but seriously, this is gorgeous. And I can't tell you how much I enjoy seeing YOUR rendition rather than copycating the concept art like most artists seem to do anymore when drawing Bookie. The detail is really magnificent. Gosh.

AWW, YEAH I KNOW! There is so few out there. And even fewer that is actually good! I can't geek out with anybody because no one knows the books! =(
So I was REALLY happy to find your gallery, it is full of goodeis that I haven't even all checked yet. Sadly I'm too busy, but it's always in the back of my mind and often makes me chuckle when I remember some of your picts during the day. XD
And your modern version is LOVE! I'm sooo totally hooked! *u*

I wanna do some more in time (like finishing that Toothless I started some time ago). This book is SO inspring! I mean, of course I love the movie (I saw it first), but I can't really add anything to it. But the book... soo much potential for awesome arts and it's not done anywhere, what a shame! D'=

Omg, right though? And the book stuff is where you start seeing the individuality of everyone's style because there's less push to emulate the movie's style.
There are so many cool scenes left to be drawn, too. :C
