A friend is having a really rough time with many problems constantly surfacing. I'm not at liberty to share what they are, as I'm sure he wishes to keep things private.

I feel rather useless as I have never been in his shoes with his current situations, so I have no advice to give. All I can do is sit here and listen to him, and I know that's not much if any help.
