Yep, he's fine! He was fixed and had his dislocated tail docked. In two weeks he will be perfectly back to normal and stitch free! :D And thank you!!

At least good to hear he's getting there, just surprised that it's the bell and not the cone so much that's an annoyance for him.

Yeah, we were both shocked. Prior to his surgery we tried to see how he was going to respond to it so we could make sure he didn't injure himself... He just kind of ran backwards and freaked out. Once he got home and we actually had to put it on him he was almost acting like it wasn't there so he could try to run to his hiding spot in the bedroom.

But yes, I agree, that is essentially his expression in all of his pictures on his FB account. haha.

Sort of reminds me of those medieval paintings of monarchs with those puffed up frilled collared blouses.

Haha yes, I definitely see that. Especially since he always looks so serious or grumpy. This cat rarely looks happy in photos but he always is. >_<

I remember when my cat had a cone on his head. It was hilarious when he tried to go into small spaces, the cone would stop his but he'd try so hard to force his way in.

Yep, Coco does this too! Did yours back up super quick once he realized he couldnt squeeze through or did he just try another route? Coco like zooms all over the place in this thing. XD

Usually he'd just sit there staring for ages, glaring at where he wanted to go.
He'd try again and again but he just didn't get the message that he couldn't do it. He was persistent I'll give him that, but not very bright!
