9"x12" commission for featuring his character Maroo and Luthien embracing each other. Bear hugs are pretty awesome, moreso when you get them from an actual bear I'd imagine. ;)

The concept behind this actually goes a bit deeper though. Maroo is seen here as a bit of a cuddle vampire, but instead of taking his victim's blood he's taking in a lot of really good energy. This won't hurt Luthien in the least, so no worries there. >u> A wise coyote once told me that when you hug someone, if you breathe deeply and really take them in, you can carry that energy with you all the time and draw from it when you need a pick-me-up - so what's happening here isn't really that far off the mark. :)

has been a wonderful and caring friend to me for a couple years now, and in true bear fashion is always very protective of those he cares about. He'd actually asked for Maraschino to be in this one with him at first, but I felt Luthien was a better recipient for bear snuggles in this case, since Maraschino kinda has her own way of feeding off people, and we all know what that is. >u< They've met in some forest, either in his world or hers or perhaps where the two intersect, and like old friends they share a hug, surrounded by Luthien's butterflies and an impossibly huge bright moon.
