Right, I've finally pulled my finger out. I did most of the pencil and pen on paper work on this ages ago but I've never until now bothered to spend a couple of hours putting it all together. When it comes to using the computer for pictures, I'm a very lazy Fox. z: )
So... just read the Sinestro Corps war hardback. That's what finally prompted to get me off of my arse and finish what I'd started when I'd first heard about the concept (being a bit of a fan of the Green Lantern corps as it was.) The reading has been good, though I still call bull.
Hal Jordan had a full on breakdown and in his madness became my most favourite DC character of all time. The Final chapter of Hal Jordan's life as Parallax, leading to his eventual demise is simply the most beautiful and well formed story I've ever read in comic books.
Howewver, the Corps war is still excellent comic book, despite the essential flaw of trying to rewrite a past and character that I love so much. It's just what you come to expect from these companies.
Anyways, this is my tribute, if you'd like to put it that way. A Green Lantern Anthro Fox, with his audacious cunning and irrepressible willpower clashing beams with Black Dragon and his indomnitable power over fear. With the strength within far more important than the physical prowess of the combatents, let this battle of inner selves in outer space commence.
