SRU has kind of evolved into a TG Emporium, but when it first started out there were plenty of transformations into animals as well. There was some debate (and sometimes still is) over whether the wizard is evil or is just a malicious prankster. Read this and you'll know my feelings on the matter.
This is also one of the few SRU stories out there, even now, told from the wizard's perspective. I'm rather proud of that.
