wow, the effort that you have put into this picture really shows, Crystal seems to have such strong emotions showing on her face. The lighting effects are absolutely stunning, the way you have used them along with the shading really fleshes the whole thing out. Everything looks nicely textured too.
I think this has to be one of the best pieces you have done so far, it must have taken quite a while to complete.

Well thanks Mat! I've been working on trying to get my characters' facial expressions more dynamic, good to know I'm getting better at it. And I've never really gotten a chance to mess with lighting and attempt textures and such. Lighting is fun! though very tedious in comic form...xP

I have to say neos again i am /VERY/ Impressed. the shading and lighting in this is simply amazing. it seems the few times you acually put effort into things you acually VASTLY improve :P.

you also did a very good job on the glass, and the ice inside of the glass. i hadnt seen you do anything like that before, and as far as i can tell that can be very hard at times, and it turned out great.

I swear to god, when i look at that last panel with her looking back, and you can see all the alcohol in the back, i swear it keeps reminding me of moe's from the simpsons XP

As for that ice, that actually *is* the first time Ive ever tried doing that. So I'm glad it turned out good.

I could go on listing the ways you've become awesome in drawing, but that would just get redundant, after a while. So, lemme describe some of the awesome effects you know you've added!

-Reflective light shadings
-Blurred mirror effects
-Insightful still panels, creating a feeling of deep thinking

Well...that's kind of all I can pull out of nowhere, but I think that you've continued still to improve your own unique drawing style...and not -just- comedic, either! You've got a toehold on multiple genres, it seems! :3 Awesome, awesome job!

I have never seen you put such detail into the lighting before. everything has a very soft glow to it... almost like a dream. From the glow of the ice cube to the glaze of her eyes, This work looks and even feels something awe inspiring. Well done!

yeah I was thinking that when I drew it. But if I didnt do that, Drag would have been pretty much completely in shadow the whole time and would be hard to tell who it was or any of the detail xp Also, remember there's that light hanging above the pooltable behind him. We'll just say it's comming from that ;3

Hehe, one of the funny things about art is that the more you do it and the more you get used to it, the less tedious it seems as you're working at it. Cuz you don't have to try so hard to get certain things to look right. You've got it stored in your memory somewhere :3

Though this didn't really take that long, I've spent a lot longer on lessrer results. This one just a lot of detail to take care of xp
