Well, now I've cleared the messages it's time to upload this one. It was done March 9 so here's the original comment.
Sketched this up today as I was suddenly hit with inspiration, the source of which came from one of lastscionz's recent submissions, and the Foo Fighters track Home.
Now, I say this is a sketch as for all intents and purposes it is, though as you can see, I got a little carried away with it. I'm glad I did too, this was fun to do :)
While drawing this I had an idea of the scenario that would lead up to it, and after I finished I wrote up a short story to go with it. Please excuse me if it's not great, I'm no writer and I've had no-one proof read it.

I could guess that's because a lot of professional artists are posting work stuff rather than their own thing. It's the sort of thing that'll be kinda flat since it's aimed at a mass market.
Sure I'll be doing that, but most of what I'd post would be my own stuff, and I'm pretty invested in it. Plus, I like to show the emotion of scenes like this if I can. Something I'm working on doing. :)

This picture is amazing. Anyone who says furry art never 'says anything' is retarded. This picture speaks volumes. Not only is it well drawn, but the expression it produces and the movement and mindset really brings itself all out.
I particularly like the way the child looks, the wet hoodie as he looks over his shoulder, hiked up on her back. It's so melancholy.

Thanks, I'm glad you like it :) I do like my art, particularly relating to this story, to be more than just pinups and such. I'd rather show a scene and the emotion in it.
Also, the child on her back is also a girl, though it's probably not terribly obvious with the hood being up.

I must say, that this drawing really caught my attention, the gray, the expressions really captures emotion, It moves far away from anything I normally see here on this website, and not only is it extremely well drawn, it really touches an emotion.
I pity this site for not having a popular section, so that more people would consider going trough drawings like this rather then simply search for the smut that sometimes stinks of mediocrity.
