My first fursuiting experience was as the Vlasic Stork. Here, Mr. Stork takes a break from starring in an employee orientation movie to get in a photo with the plant nurse. The mascot suit was made by MACS of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and came in a large green fiberglass trunk. The pickle is almost like a large hollow polypropylene toy. The hands are four-finger cartoon-style with leather palms and attached to the suit. Vision and ventilation was through the open beak. More ventilation through the hat with a 12v fan powered by 8 AA batteries.

I wore two different versions of the character. The second had a foam head and plywood-bottomed feet which were strapped to my own shoes. The leg openings of the body suit fastened to the shoes with velcro. Unfortunately, there are no pictures of it.
This was only one of a number of jobs done for the company. I just happened to have the right build for the character.
