Hello all!

Since there was interest in an art contest, I figured I'd better make and lay out the rules!

This is a contest to draw Tamerlaine, the Socalfurs Mascot! (Reference: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/10954790/ , design and original art by  dustmeat). Tamerlaine has been the official mascot of the Socal Furry Fandom since 2003, and I think it's time to get some more art of her, eh?

So with that in mind, here's the rules and guidelines:

1) Visual art only. (This time).

2) Art must be clean and PG rated. Nothing that you would be embarrassed to show or see in public. The General Public!

3) No commissions.

4) By submitting artwork to the contest, you give permission to upload to FA and similar sites (You will be given credit and a link back). Art submitted may be asked to be used for future Socalfurry events, fliers, banners, etc.

5) The winner will be picked by a panel of judges. The top picks will also be mentioned.

6) Grand (...and only) prize is $20, to be disbursed electronically (Paypal, Google Wallet, or other methods) or in cash at the Prancing Skilltaire.

7) Deadline for entrants is October 31st, 2013. I figure a month should give enough time! (If this isn't, yell at me on my personal page).
