You needn't ask for forgiveness, I appreciate your questions. The class was not a requirement, in fact by the time I took the class I had already taken care of my history courses so I just took it as an elective since I'm very fascinated by the middle east, unlike many Americans I did not come to fear and despise these cultures nor assume they were just a bunch of murderous savages like the republicans make them out to be.
