Awwwwlroit bois and goils, some inking has been had.
From blank page to finished (not including scanning process and the hours i spent distracted during it) this ended up taking around 9 hours... which isn't too bad i guess, it's less time than one of my really detailed pencil drawings takes. But, i'd like to streamline my process down to 6 hours per page, i can be satisfied wiht that. I suspect if i removed all the time i spent as a noob wondering what to do, it'd probably be about 6 hours.
Next, i will make an introductory splash page (prepare to die, pen!) and then continue on to page 2. Page two will include multiple experiments with dynamic camera angles and foreshortening (god, i might just die D:)
This is kind of a mish mash melee of styles, because i'm still working on choosing my 'look' ...and hey, it's the first page... it's okay to not have that worked out just yet.
When is the right time to make a website for this, and an RSS feed and such? If i did it now it would only get minimal interest (like none) But... i don't know when people start putting their comic out there. It has to happen sometime...
Anyway, here's to hoping i can handle this project.

My idea with that was to do the characters in that style and the backgrounds/world with hatching and lines... and the contrasting style would ideally make the important characters stand out. ...but like i said, i don't really know what i'm doing, so that may or may not work... I'll try things as i go along. :P
Thanks!
Thanks!
Awesome!!! I do love that city shot :)
Hum, might want to do some photomanip on the mirror; up the contrast a bit to blacken the blacks (I like the contrast on everything else) and add a shiny so it's more obvious it's a reflection?
Just tell me if these crits get annoying XD It looks great :)

Yeah, it could use a little more contrast. i don't like seeing the pen strokes in something that's supposed to be all black. I think i might touch it up in PS, as well as tinker with the idea of 'drawing' the text digitally as well, for the sake of neatness.
No no, your critical observations are very welcome! In fact i crave them :O

BTW, as far as time is concerned, your comic IS out there right now and probably more likely to reach people in the community with the exposure from FA's front page and favorites. I say the time to post this on a website is about the time it takes for the views and fav's and conversations here to become a bit... crowded. Then it's time to move to a place with more elbow room!
Yeah, i was thinking maybe i'd make a new account... just because i'm a little obsessive in a way, about keeping things seperate.
I still might, maybe.
It actually would be fairly easy and convenient to just set a domain to redirect to that secondary one-subject FA account, as long as you weren't trying to hide the fact that you associate with furries. Maybe i'll do that

Almost have things figured out for it, the story is a bit of a mix space western and space pirate themes. It involes a small group of furry characters that escape a distant civilization to settle on earth of the future. This earth exists long past the last human died off and is very wild, lawless, and is made of isolated tribes - most of wihch are much more settled then the new arrivals and not all of which are very friendly...
I have a feeling this is going to be awesomeee
I'l pimp it the next time my owen comic updates, hurr hurr >:3
Also
www.smackjeeves.com is an amazing comic host. It's like the freewebs of comicking, but with more class. c:

Hmmm, that site does look pretty good, thanks! Do you use it?
I was thinking i'd make a new FA account solely for my comic... but of course, since i wanted to do that, new registrations are not allowed. Always something here to get in the way...
BUT, an actual comic site, like that one, has features tailored to this use. I might give it a try...
