RWBY Fanart!
I’m enjoying this series so far. Sure, the pacing is kinda slow and many of the episodes are too short for what happens in them, but it’s a weekly animated series so that’s gonna happen. It just makes the bigger episodes all the more spectacular when they come about. :)
I’d been working on this fanart on and off for a while, so it’s about time I finished it up and got around to posting it. I had fun with it - I’m particularly happy with how their hair turned out. I might do another in the future.

Oh true. Naturally all the other characters need developing, but with most of the episodes being as short as they are it would be better to focus more on the main characters and really get them established. Still, the show has a lot of potential, and when those big episodes happen it's something special. :)
Aww damn D: With all the episodes that have been shown so far and the amount of time I spent trying to get the details right, you'd think I'd remember to colour her hair properly!

Like Vosur said, not all of their weapons double as guns. Most are dual-ranged though. Ruby has a sniper rifle/scythe, Weiss has the rapier with chambers for firing "spells" (dust) at range, Blake has the piston/sword/kusarigama, and Yang has shotgun gauntlets.
Other weapons include a grenade launching hammer, uzis with blades on them, a rifle/staff/spear, and what appears to be an axe attached to a blunderbus. It all makes for very interesting combat and fight scenes.
