I gave this image a thorough look-over and I have to say that you must have spent a crazy amount of time making this as perfect as you possibly could have. The detail of everything you've done is very incredible. I even noticed that you not only shown a good display of wetness to her eyes, but that you also showed the reflection of the grass in front of her on her eyes as well. I seriously doubt too many people even realized that detail due to how fine it is. Really gives this image a strong feel of being very organic to the core.

It's true I spent a great deal of time on this piece but mostly it's because I enjoy immersing myself in the world or the characters I'm painting. When you paint some subject matter you really love it's easy to lose track of time, kind of like when playing a game that's so good you can't put the controller down, it turns day into night and vice-versa before you even realize it!

I definitely know that feeling without delay. I'm seriously glad that you enjoy the character just as much as myself. Still fascinates me to this day that it would be considered something Children probably wouldn't be able to understand in their youth, but I got the story and enjoyed the concept despite my age when I was first exposed to it. Ironically enough, the animated movie that was on the same Beta tape [I'm a child of the 80's to remember that Format] was The Hobbit and it was just as good.

yea to bad their waset a realll seqile to the movie (the books have 3 sequels) they recenlty anounced a new remake.,...:p witch kinda blows lol

oh man I'm not looking forward to any remake, unless they capture the same feeling the first movie had.

sadly no i dont think it well its a 3d cgi and well be made by peaple that have no clu about the books :/ very sad i hate remakes XD its a shame i had a huge crush on brisby as a child XD
