"Mama, who's that horse over there?"
The little black filly peeked her head around her mother's side as she stared. Skye looked over and sighed.
"That, my dear, is Khali'ka. He is from the same place as Ms. Ileador. "
Gypsy perked her ears up and tried to get a better few. The large black stallion stood across the field. Strings of gold and jewels adorned his face and chest, few draping over his back or woven in his tail. It reminded of when her mother dressed up and walked in parades. The sun sparkled off the different trinkets. So much fun to watch!
Now what was he doing? The foal watched the stallion move off towards other horses in his pen. It must be a meeting! She squeaked happily and bounded toward them. By now the stallion had joined a group of other horses, also decorated with various ornaments. Skye's head snapped up.
"Gypsy, stop this instant!"
"But mommmmm!"
"No, stay here"
The mare's nostrils flared and she gave a quick glance towards Khal. The stallion was looking in their direction, a slow smile spreading across his face. An gold earring was clasped between his teeth, probably filched from the cowering stallion to his right. The smile spread wider as his eyes caught sight of her own silver halter. Skye bared her teeth and turned away.
"Come Gypsy, we're going over here."
Rest of story- Gyspy eventually snuck away from Skye and ran over to meet the oh-so mysterious stallion. He just kinda blinked at her. He wasn't ready for the barrage of questions she asked, nor the sight of her own little halter. Wonder what happened next?
And now I've introduced two new horses! Skye and Gypsy. Skye is a Masquaradequine, which is a breed Ally owns. I've had her for quiet some time, although I still need to finish her ref. Gypsy is a completely random design I just like. Kinda thinking about making a breed for her, but I'd have to think about it. Skye is not Gypsy's biological mom, but her foster mom. We have no idea where Gypsy came from. She's attached herself to Skye, who's been lonely since her son, Sterling, grew up.
Did this as a de-stresser. I've just been doing a lot of stickers and it was getting to me. Plus I fell in love with Khal and wanted to draw him :3
