your welcome what makes you like this one i've played all of the series if only the remakes but this one is amazing by pokemon adventure standards

A few reasons:

1. SELECTION

A lot of past pokemon games had a very limited dex of +-150 (sometimes less!) catchable guys in the wild. Leading to such absurdities as the only viable non-starter fire type
in D/P being a ponyta. -_-

This game's selection is amazing, nearly every route has 4-5 new pokemon to catch, many of em genuinly exciting or worth using.

2. Animations & interaction with pokemon.

This one's pretty simple: a TON of pokemon I didn't care about before are suddenly interesting due to either their battle animations or how they look in pokemon amie.

Have you seen mr.mime in the wild? Dear lord do some pokemon benefit from the new style.


3. The region

Most routes and environments are expanded and very lovely looking, there's routes that make me feel like I'm moving through an actual region sometimes.


4. easy online capabilities

Super interconnected, easy to trade, fun stuff like wonder trade. Just all around a fun experience rather than a time consuming hassle.

5. final reason would probably be uhm.. they made it a lot more streamlined when it comes to stuff like experience gain.

i've always played them and enjoyed the selections but sometimes it did have few and non interesting pokemon

the animations are indeed amazing taking how vast they feel and how well they look the pokemon yes indeed i mean it just felt so amazing seeing those pokemon so lively pokemon had the capability but since they've always stuck with the adventure being a portable system game they took this long to give it these things

yeah each region has its locations but if its not memorable enough it gets dull and though it doesn't have the best the 3d environment gives it a boost

yeah its always been annoying having to go to the union room to pretty much find one or two people but now it has a whole new setup reconizing your friends and so many other people and giving you the normal system and so much more

this is how pokemon should have always been they've just lacked the system to do it

Yeah. I was actually thinking about how this is such a fundamental change in quality that I'm probably guaranteed to buy the next pokemon when it comes out
on the premise of sheer quality alone.

Major step up in every way imaginable.

i know i mean in every game since the begining its been sprited it was only up till pearl and diamond that they actually attempted 3d but only with buildings and such then when b/w came they actually managed to do more but with these two man it was a whole new level of improvement that you would have never expected

I'm really enjoying it myself.

For reference:

1. loved blue

2. found RS extremely dull and hated the reliance on HMs (waterfall, dive, surf.. so many water hms..)

3. Found D/P empty as shit. (only non starter fire pokemon was ponyta, what the shit?)

4. found SS/HG enjoyable but not amazing.

But anyway yeah, I consider this the first pokemon game in a loooong time that exceeds my expectations a lot. If you liked any past pokemon game
this one is bound to be better.
