The once mostly-unremarkable superhero Silver Fox was tricked and trapped (as usual) by a rogue tanuki, who decided to have a bit of fun, turning the once-lean lad into a much heftier tanuki as well! Now, using his new magical powers and a pair of pants designed to keep him publicly decent, he changed his name to the mystical Gintama!
