So, I’m a fan of mass effect. Any game that allows me to boink giant bug-aliens gets my interest (Did I just type that?) . And there is a fairly nice verity of species in mass effect, not all quite in my ‘alien enough to be aliens’ books, but still great designs. Now a species is mentioned but so far never seen in the game is the ‘Raloi‘:

“The Raloi are an avian species originating on the planet Turvess, who made first contact with the Asari in 2184 after launching their first space telescope and discovering the Asari cruiser Azedes in their system.
Little is known about the biology of the Raloi except that they are avian in appearance. Due to an outbreak of an alien flu virus among the Raloi during the ceremonies held to welcome them to the galactic community, the Raloi have to wear environmental suits while in contact with other alien species.”

Trying to narrow down body type and my favorite heads here. While most of the bodies in mass effect species are humanoid in shape- this is mainly a modeling constraint and I decided to try out for a more odd form a of body- creatures whose 'arms' evolved into legs while their feet became more hand like, which makes a lot of sense for birds when you think about it.
