so this is a WIP test of a quarter ring, essentially the idea is to flatten the edge so the year is visible on the inside of the ring and then hollow and smooth it to fit a finger, the eventual goal once i am done with this one is to make 2 more, one with the year i was born in it, and one from pre 1964 (for those of you who don't know quarters pre 1964, are 90% silver)

P.S. pain in the ass project results in lots of smashed fingers if your not
paying attention....
