xD I actually botched the anatomy on this one! x) I'm going to be hitting the books tomorrow probably to relearn all them muscles. As for advice, the best advice I can give you is determine your reason for drawing, write it on a piece of paper and put it where you'll see it every morning. Then get yourself to drawing, every day. Even if it's just a sketch. :)

And noooooo you're not! x) Part of being a good artist is great self image! Tell yourself how good you are and impress yourself by how much beter you are now than you were 1 2 or 3 years ago. Because here's me 3 years ago. NSFW And it makes me happy with how I draw now. :)

but yeah, muscle structure has always eluded me. :/ even now, when I know where the muscle groups are, how they should bend and curve, my characters all look like thin twiggy dweebs. >.>

From what I've seen your muscles are just fine. :) You do have a bit of trouble with varying body type and if you want to make big bulging muscles you'll need an in depth study and by that I mean being able to point to a certain body part at any time and telling which muscle there is right off the top of your head by the end of the study. For this I recommend Anatomy: A Complete Artist's Guide by Joseph Sheppard.

You also seem to have a bit of a problem with pose. (There's little weight to your characters and they seem a bit static) To combat this I recommend posemaniacs.com :) (For this you'll need to know what a gesture is. If they don't explain it well enough I'll be happy to teach you over Skype. :) )

I used posemanicas for a long time, and i think my anatomy was a lot worse then. >.< I try to make poses in my head, and then find photos to help support the type of movements I need to create.

I am really enjoying the subtle reflection of their scales and how they glow. Overall it looks amazing though. Only thing is the angle of the lamp looks kinda odd. I feel like you can see too much of the top inside of it from the perspective we (as viewers) look into the room. It could be just me though. Great job anyways though! X3
