our dog is 16 years old too. i notice every day i see her over at my parents home, that she gets older, skinnier... sleepy. sometimes she just sits or lays at her place and shakes a bit. i know the day will come but i refuse to accept this.

She was just so healthy.. We just let her out, a happy dog to use the bathroom maybe 3 hours ago.
She was trying to get someone awake, but failed. She died right in front of my door way.

I'm so sorry that this happened I can't imagine you having to see her like that right in front of your door. I had to sit and watch my sister's rabbit pass away because he was sick and it was so painful. I hope that you can push past this hard time.

I lost my dog not long ago to cancer, i think she was like 14-15 herself. ):
I had her put to sleep eventually cause it was eating at her bones/limping ect... but even going into the vet room she was wagging and ears up and ;_; ugh it was so hard...

I know it's very hard but i hope you're ok v v <3

I hate losing pets. I had a chinchilla named Kraig, but he died because my older sister failed to change his water while we were gone for a week.
And my mom took my dog when my parents divorced.
Shes in a better place, Aleu ^_^. If she was suffering, she isn't now. My lil Kraigy has been in chinnie heaven for 7 years and I still miss him dearly :( He's buried in Arizona though, so I cant really see him.

I hope something amazing happens soon, no one deserves to lose a family member.
