I think I found a fifth one. Look up by the clothesline, and to the right of it, where the rope connects to the building, there appears to be an outline of another cat.

Otherwise, I've only found the four you've pointed out.

there is one in the doorway above the busted up stop sign in the bottom left corner as well. i see 5 (including that one) but i cant seem to find the one that you were talking about.

The oil drum, above the stop sign in the wrecked building to the left of the characters, there's a kitten looking over the top of the oil drum.

Pfft, why only run as slow as Forrest Gump? They should run as fast as trusty servant Bertholdt from Terry Gilliam's The Adventures of Baron Munchhausen (1988) in order to achieve time dilation so they can escape those heat-seaking missiles! Bertholdt ran as fast as that a speeding bullet and the prior gun blast slowed down for him while he was running "normal" from his POV.

*facepalm* I was referring to it as a joke that they needed to run, I wasn't referring to the speed of the runner. I think this joke went over your head.
