So we had to manually convert part of an image to black and white to learn about how hues have value. This would have taken me 7 seconds in photoshop. It took me a couple of hours with acrylic. fffffffffssssssssssssssss.

Aw that's pretty awesome. Dang, I wish my teacher gave us assignments like this. Or at least, you know, something challenging like this. The most my teacher ever did was make us draw a hand, laaaame. But anywho, I really like this and excellent choice of subject matter! The water part looks like it would take a good minute to nail down.
